If you are currently in USA means you can apply for H1B.
If you are in india means that company will not file H1B in
USA.

Please apply for L1B and be prepare for Appointment
interview, u need to convince consulate officer with your
speciliazed skills.

Even I have same Question....h1 is filed on april 08...So
is it possible to file L1 by my current employer ?? H1
filing is done by other US based compnay and my current
company does not know this.So while fikling L1 do I have to
mention that my H1 is in process??

Right now I am working in India. I got an offer from a
Company in US and they sponsored for my H1b and my petition
was selected in the random selection. The Company A has
told me to join them only after getting H1b i.e. in Oct'08.
Simultaneously, my current company is filing L1B for me. My
current company will be sending me to US as and when L1B
comes. I don’t want to let go US Company offer which
depends on me getting H1b in Oct. My Question is, papers
for H1b is filed in Apr'08 by US Company, if papers for L1b
will be filed now, what will happen to my L1B and H1B
status? can i ahve both stamped? What will happen to my L1B
if they process now.What i meant was that papers of L1B and
H1b are being processed at the same year?

Hi, My education is Diploma in Mechanical Engg and Post diploma in Metallurgy (10+4 Education) , I have 10 years experience in Energy projects. Already I have B1 visa and have a experience in Italy Business visit (3 months trip). Please let me know that I am eligible for getting the L1B visa or not?

Yesterday (22nd Oct) I had my L1B visa interview. The consulate rejected my VISA stating that I should go for L1 invidual VISA or H1B Visa. He just asked me 4 to 5 questions and then started writing something on the computer. The questions were: 1)My employer 2)My education: BTECH 3)My client , inidan salary and salary in US 4)the team size of project in India and in US. I had told around 50 in India and around 10 in US. I gave all the answers correctly. Can you please let me know the following: 1)what could be the reason of rejection ? 2)What should be the time gap before filing for L1 individual VISA again. 3)What are the chances of rejection of L1 individual visa? 4)What care should be taken next time during VISA interview? Hi, I do have around 5+ years of experience in IT and my educational qualification is B.Com and 2 years full time diploma in Software Technology. My company is going to process my visa in L blanket, but I believe my educational qualification will not help me to get L1-B, so what are the chance if I apply L1-A rather then L1-B. Please reply. L1 B VISA ,Am Mechanical Engineer passed out of 2006 batch and have any exper of 3 years 8 months am eligible for L1 b visa and am working in the same domain last 3 years 8 months

My surname is being mispelt in the degree certificate instead of AIYAR it has been mentioned as IYER. Other documents have the name as AIYAR and as per passport also it is AIYAR. Will this create a problem for my L1 visa. I am a Chartered Accountant and name in my CA certificate is AIYAR.

Hi, I am working for India Company X, I had applied F1 Visa in the year 2008 and got rejected. In March 2011, my company had applied B1 visa (training)and it was refused again. I am associated continuously with the same company X since Jun 2005. My company had filed L1A individual visa petition which is approved from USCIS recently in the month of Jan 2012. I am planning to schedule my visa interview in the end of Feb or early March 2012. Would there be any issues at the US consulate-Mumbai because of these multiple rejection? Please suggest me what are the chances of getting L1A approval.
