Testing is to find defects in the software.Testing is
compulsary because for example nobody buys the tomatoes
which are damaged or which are eaten by the insects,
likewise no company will accept the software which are

Yes testing should be done compulsarly because in testing
we test the total product, isolate, send for rectification,
retest the product and finally we ensure that the product
is defect free and at also ensure that the product is user
friendly...
And testing is compulsary because the developer will have
centimenatal attachment with what he has developed so he
may not test all the applications properly as he has
confidence on what he has done and also we the decrease the
time factor also, So testing is compulsarly required..

There are 3 possibilities of the outcome of the
Testing. The developed product is good and can be released
in the market or there should be a bug or there should be
some sort of enhancement to upgrade the developed product.
That's the reason in some companies, there are separate
departments for testing the product. In some companies they
are also called auditors. Testers should think different
than normal as how the product works and compare the
expected behavior with the actual behavior of the product
and then check it out whether its working or not.
Enhancement is the process that should always happen for the
product to get upgraded in time to survive in the market and
bug is the one that should never occur as it will take the
product out of the market...
This is called as testing and this is how testing had to be
done...

Answer / y satya vara prasad
testing is used to prevent the bugs and make the product
bug free or defectless...the main aim of testing is to
retest the product to verify whether testing had done
perfectly or not..
tester always thinks in the direction of a user and if he
feels that the product is user friendly, he stops testing
the product, otherwise he goes on testing the software till
it is error free(ofcourse no product will be an error free
even it is tested 100s of times)...
