For a single DG set, 4 earthpits will be required - 2 for
body & 2 for neutral. Suppose you have 3 DG sets then 8
earthpits will be required - 2 for body earthing of all
three DGs & 6 for neutral(2 for each DG). The two earthpits
for body shall be in grid. The two earthpits for neutral of
a DG shall also be in grid, but earthpits for neutral of
different DGs shall not be in grid.

A DG set need 4 earth stations ( pits ) Two for neutral and two for body. They should be atleast 3 mtrs apart. two neutral station s are to be connected in grid and similarly two body earth station to be connected in grid.
When two are more Dg sets are running in parallel neutral pits of only one genset ( biggest ) are used. Neutral pits of other Dg sets are disconnected. The Body earths of all Dg sets will be as it is.

According to Indian Std. DG Set Should have four Earthing
Pits Each Should have Separate Copper Plate Accoring to Std.
-Run two properly sized Copper or GI Earthing Conductors
from the Neutral Bushing/Terminal of the DG Set's
Alternator and connect one each to the two neutral earth
pits. Similarly, the alternator will have two earthing
terminal on its body (at diagonally opposite ends); Run two
properly sized Copper or GI Earthing Conductors from these
body earthing terminals of the DG Set's Alternator and
connect one each to the two body earth pits.

Hello there, Im a Mechanical Engineer. I passed out in 2010 and have worked for 6 months in the Middle East as a Trainee Engineer. Im now in India and due to appear for an Interview for a firm in the Middle East. The post is of an Automobile Engineer. Im kinda nervous as to what to prepare for the interview. The training which I got was in different areas ranging from technical to managerial aspects. What I mean to say is that that was more of a crash training, where I couldn't stick to one section alone. The interview which Im attending is more of a technical one. What I would like to know, how and what I should be preparing? I have two weeks for the preparation. Should I go through the normal automobile aspects or everything in random. PS: I have excellent communication skills, the one area in which I'm very confident.
