Answer / sonali
The fluctuations in the nifty and sensex values are due to
the demand and supply forces prevailing in the market. If
the demand for a particular security is more than its
supply prices will go up and vice-versa.
If the prices of the maximum stocks in an exchange are
going up bcoz of lesser supply and more demand the index(
sensex, nifty) will also go up.

The consideration for the changes in the sensex and the
nifty values is depending upon EIC approach with a due
technical and fundamental analysis of the market
considerations. and it also depends upon the float of the
shares of the benchmarked companies say sensex with 30 and
s&p cnx nifty with 50.

Sensex is the indication of Bombay Stock Exchange(BSE).The Fluctuations of Sensex depends on the profits and loses of the share holding companies. The thing is that any company in India can sell their shares through BSE(with some conditions).
Sensex fluctuates more usually because BSE is a private company which will also be effected by Gossips.Alike BSE, NSE is a govt company.Nifty is the indication for NSE like Sensex Nifty also depends on the share holding companies.Nifty will be usually less Fluctuating.
