The ways to follow defect management are
1. test plan (what will be defect management system followed
in the project)
2.Afetr the Test case execution over we can post the defects
in template followed by a company in the company

Defects can be managed in two ways. Entering the defect
findings in the defect management tool by project wise. And
also defects can be managed by preparing the Defect Reports
which contains the defects during test cycle.
Defect tracking is very easy if you use any defect tracker.

We are using internal tool Protrack for defect management.
With this we can testers enter bugs to the respective
project team members who are related to the project

While doing system testing your have missed out some issues. The same issue is found by customer and he reverts back to you for an explaination. How do you convince him or how do you justify yourself about your testing?
what is the diff b/w Test Strategy and test approach doc? and which team prepares these doc's?
