Deffered means postponed the bug for further version, it is
not much important to fix.it is low severity and low
priority bug.

this status is given either by the TL or the dev lead.
it means a reported bug may or maynot be fixed,being of low priority.

Differed is a status which is assigned by the developer when
he accepts the defect ,but need some more time to rectify
it.Then we set it as differed.

When developers want to fix the defect in the next version,
not in the current version then they make the status as
deffered.

The developer changes the status of the bug as 'Deferred' it means the bug is expected to be fixed in the next releases.
The reasons for changing the bug to this state have many factors. Some of them are
1)priority of the bug may below
2)lack of time for the release or
3)the bug may not have major effect on the software

functionality is changed then the status is kept as
deffered.
