What is mean by uniaxial bending
since the column may be loaded in uniaxial( one axis) or biaxial( two axis) , the possiblity is when only the beam in x direction or y direction is rested on column, only towards one axis of the column(x or y) the bending moment will develop. it is called uniaxial bending.
