But design mix is performance based..u want to design the grade..ratio...etc...

Design mix by weight with use admixture &Nominal mix by volume with fix ratio of cement, sand,aggregate.

In case of a beam ,main steel is provided along the longer span because, bending moment is directly proportional to length but why in case of one way slab main steel is provided along shorter span while as bending takes place along longer span?comment
