The capacity of sump will be Length x Breadth x Depth (all in meters) = Cum. Further multiplied with 1000 to convert cum to liters.
I think you must be asking for capacity of sump required. If so then it is determined by detention time (days) x no. of users (nos.) x 135lpcd (CPHEEO standard for Urban use).
