Because hp heater is used to increase the FW temp which is supplied to Boiler but attemperation is used to control the o/l steam temp of boiler which is supplied to turbine.

The outlet temperature of HP heaters should be 240 degrees and that will be inlet temperature of economiser.
the temperature limit of economizer is bounded and so we cant fed feed water more than 240 degrees in economiser.

Hi...Generally Spray is used for temperature REGULATION purpose only, either Steam or Water Temperature control applications.

As we all know that the attemperator main purpose is to reduce the temperature of superheater steam..If we take water after feed pump or LP heater its temperature is slightly lower than the hp heater ,so there is a possibility of superheated steam condense in an attemperator itself by using lp heater or feed pump water..

We have 132KV/11KV Grid connected power transformer for getting power from Grid. Can we use this transformer for sending generated power as well. I mean step up from 11KV to 132KV and transmit.
