it mean we are applying dc(constant) current to coil ,voltage is zero across inductor(transformer winding) so there is a short circuit occuring so it draws high current

Ac voltage waveform is alternate so genrate a mutual induction and dc is direct current so it is not genrate mutual induction

If Dc supply is given to atransformer there will be no change in the flux with time.so,there is no emf induced in the primary and secondary winding and hence transformer action will not take place.

The transformer works on the basis of to transfer the energy (votage) to stepping down or up in alernative mode. In the DC power the current flow in streight line, so transformer can not transfer the voltage .

My switchgear busbar is rated at 2000A and just imagine the actual load on busbar is 1000A. From that busbar there are 10 outgoing feeders. Now the question is will the load be 1000A on each outgoing feeder or 100A per outgoing feeder. 2nd thing how do i calculate the load on individual feeder. Thanks for your time. Please provide some clarification on this issue.
