HOw To Use 24V DC in Instrument?..

Answer / carl_ellis

24Vdc is the DC power supply voltage.

For 2 wire loop powered instruments, the DC power supply is
in series in the loop.

For 3 wire instruments, the DC power supply common (-)
shares a terminal with the receiver's common (-),

but has a separate (+) terminal.
For 4 wire instruments, there separate wiring terminals for
both the power supply (+) and (-).
