BEFORE STARTING PLASTERING WORK IF ANY CONCRETE ELEMENTS
LIKE COLUMNS,WALLS ETC. WE HAVE TO DO POINTING / HACKING.
ALL THE SURFACES WHERE PLASTERING IS TO BE DONE SHOULD BE
WET BY APPLYING WATER. AT THE JOINTS GROOVES SHOULD BE
MAINTAINED TO AVOID CRACKS. PROPORTION OF MIXING SHOULD BE
PROPER.

The Process of plastering is that Throw 1 trovel filled with
material on to the wall must me at the distance of 20 to 30
cm far from the wall so that each n every particle get
bounded/sticked with the wall. And the trovel must be
partialy filled with mortar.

i know that, the for calculating material required for concrete volume of concrete is taken 50-54 % more for wet volume. i have querry is that cement and sand volume taken more for making wet volume but in the case of aggregate why it is taken more there is no change in aggregate whether it is dry or wet.???? can you give me answer for this???
among fine,coarse sand which is used for plaster, brickwork and RCC & why?
