Answer / Pravesh Kumar Singh
The distance between body earth (PE) and neutral earth (N) should be as short as possible, ideally zero. The purpose of earthing is to provide a path for excess current to flow safely to ground, minimizing potential hazards. However, in some cases, there may be practical reasons why the distance cannot be zero, but it should be kept as minimal as feasible.
