Hi,
INVERTER: Basically we use the application of the Inverter for low applications like LIGHTING and residential purpose ...In many homes 1.5KVA or below is used as inverter.
ONLINE UPS:
We saw in many IT companies there is a lot of networking going on there, they dont want to interupt the system atleast nanoseconds also...so that they use online ups like 20kva to 80 kva ups....
Most of these days we are using SMF batteries better than Turblance batteries...they connected in series....

The Basic Difference is Inverter does not contains "static switch" which is having is called UPS...
The Function of the Static switch is when power goes the inverter acts in 1 sec which we feel the power gone effect through bulbs off and on for one sec, but the UPS acts in 0.03 milli sec with help of static switch(because in Computers the capacitors store the charge for 0.05 milli sec only) which we we cannot feel the power gone state...

I do wonder why current is present in neutral wire?i check single phase lead current feeding air conditioner...on its phase its current was 10A while same was 10A in neutral...as we know in neutral voltage is zero so if voltage is zero then how current appears on amp meter? my second observation is (just imagination)when I touch phase wire it give me shock but when i touch neutral nothing happens although as above its carrying current(amps) third but with same logic...as in simple Alternate current sine curve there is + and there is negative peak.means every time phase changing so how come every time same phase and same neutral stand (pardon for english mistakes)
What is the harm if we install primary side 11 KV VCB at a distance of one Km from the 11/3.3KV 12.5 MVA transformer through 11 KV cable.
What is Gnat,Ant,Rabbit &Dog overhead conductor? Please explain.
generally in LT and MV motors we are using 3.5Coresx16,25,35,50 etc cable for supply.although motors is earthed at two point and having all protection.then why we are using that 1/2 core for earthing the motors.while in HT cable we are using only 3core cable for motor supply.generally lt and mv motors are delta connected and ht motors having star connection.whethere it is having any relation with winding connection( star or delta).all motors i am talking about are dol only.can anybody solve my confusion.thanks...

We have two Al.busbars each of size 125mm*10 mm connected in parallel. To increase the current rating ,can we connect third busbar of size 100mm*10mm in parallel to existing two busbars? In my opinion ,if we connect busbars of different sizes in parallel, then the busbar of lowest size will take much current. So this type of paralleling should be avoided .Am I correct?
