how to calculate the capacity of CT operated LT trivector
meters on a particular distribution transformer.
Answer / prakash g.r.
In distribution transformer, the LV side voltage is 433V(LL)
or 230V(LN). The secondary of the CT provided in the DT is
may be 5 A or 1 A. Hence the capacity of trivector meter is
230V, -/5 A or 230 V,-/1A.( - stands for primary which
varies with capacity of DT (ie) 200/5A or 400/5A like that.
