It is not possible to measure flow using pressure transmitter. We need DP transmitter to measure flow.First we have to create a DP using ventury tube or a orifice plate.the flow rate is directly proportion to the squreroot of the Diffrential pressure.

Answer / sudarsun
Differential Pressure transducer along with a Venturi pipe
should do the work. The pressure at the normal diameter vs
the pressure at the shorter diameter should be proportional
to the rate at which the fluid flows.

You can't use the pressure transmitter to measure the flow
because when you want to measure the flow you need delta be
in the pressure and the presser transmitter have one side
you want transmitter with high and low sides

Answer / jobby c johnson
In any Flow meters(venturi, Oriface etc), Flow rate is given by the expression
Q is propotional to sqrt(delta p)
Where Q is mass flow rate ; delta p is the differantial pressure across the transmitter
