why not its nameed as A,B,C,D??

The three terminals are M, L, C, V
M stands for main load, L for connecting load, C for common, V is for voltage
There are two coils - current coil is between M and L, potential coil is between C and V

because in watt meter ther are 2 windings one is current coil & another one is pressure coil
current coil is in series & pressure coil is in parallel for finding the terminals of those 2 windings

'M' it connect one is voltge phase and 'M' to 'C' are inter
connect.
'L' it is used to connect load (or) energy meter.
'C' it is a capactive device is a support device.
'V' it is a voltage to connect transformer neutral and also
connect energy meter.
so they are not its named A,B,C,D.
