100mva,75mva capacity.statoin load is155mva.how much each
tranformers share the load????

Any system desined is to optimam utilisation, here we have
to Xmr ie 100 MVA and 75 MVA, connected load is 155 MVA in
this case we cant optimize 75 MVA Xmr. in such situations i
will suggest Maximam loading of Big Xme and Load rest MVA
to smaller one.

Answer / asm
first you have to confirm that 155MVA is connected or
diversified load, if it is connected load then 90% loading
is coming. however if it is diversified load then u can
load upto 80% of transformer capacity. in this case X'mer
will be out of higher efficiency range.

Answer / santhosh
both the transformer is same rating it would be share equal
load,i.e (trafo1=2000kva,trafo2=2000kva),current load is
2200kva, now trafo1=1100,trafo2=1100

Answer / k.prakashchandra
The voltage drops in the transformers + line should be equal
at the secondary bus-bar. Current shared by tr1 x its %
impedance = load shared by tr2 x its % impedance.Hence The
load sharing ratio is inverse to ratio of % impedances.
| Is This Answer Correct ? | 1 Yes | 0 No |
The load sharing will be in the inverse ratio of percentage
impedances. Lower the % impedance higher the load ,so that
the voltage drops are equal. .

Higher Value Transformer u can Load upto 90% say 90MVA &
Lower Value Transformer u can load Load the Rest Say
remaining 10MVA.
It is General Practice to Do the Distribution of Load
According to above said manner
