harmonic pulses is basically called the harmonic distortion
and this takes place mostly in the rectifiers during its
distortion the frquency goes multiple.
Suppose the frequency is 50hz then this would be = 50, 100,
200, 400 ans so on.

I have 800 Amps MG Fix type breaker It is in on line & it has been given only UV (under voltage)coil connection for tripping purpose.now it is not working properly means its getting tripp so how can i replace it or how can i rectify the problem without destrubing my load??????????
how to select earthing wire? procedures and parameters?
We are using Powerica make 100 KVA DG set. Whenever i connect compressor on DG load (Compressor Make Atlas Copco 5.5 kva) that time we face the lot of fluctuation on Dg output. Can you please suggest me how can prevent this fluctuation?
Can u explain : what is supply for train (whether a,c or d.c ).I know that supply is 25000v a.c .But there is rumour that supply is D.C. And also explain how lights and fans inside the trains are working ,and what type of motors are used in trains whether D.C motors or induction motors .If d.c motor, how it gets supply. If traction motors are used then what are traction motors and its functions and how it differs from other motors and also explain about locomotive . y d.c series motor in train.train wheels r driven by D.C shunt motor ,at what voltage, and at what speed. please reply..............
how electricity is generated through electeic generator ?
Even when a particular generator in a generating station is under maintenance we are still able to maintain the same power output. How is this possible? Does the tie line between 2 generating stations have a role to play in it?
how to set relay setting? and example calculation...
which one is more costly:single phase induction motor or 3 phase induction motor??give proper reasons..
ii) A shunt motor supplied at 230V, runs at 900 rpm when the current is 30A. The resistance of the armature is 0.4 ohms. Calculate the resistance required in series with the armature to reduce the speed to 600 rpm, assuming that the armature current is then 20A. [12]
working principle a.v.r. ?
explain the meaning of harmonic resonance
Why, the starting current of 3 phase Induction Motor is 7 to 8 times its rated current?
