what is the operation of Control Module(CM),MONITOR
Module(MM), MONITOR Module DUAL (MM2),Signal
Module(SM),Isolator Module(IM), please some one reply me..
the operation and application of these in FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS...
Answer / asif.k64@hotmail.com
Modules work as a mediator between the fire alarm panels and
output devices like, smoke detector or MCP(manual call
point) actuators etc.
Control Module(CM)# Device Interface module
This Is an interface Module for automatic Switching or
Programmed outputs.
MONITOR Module(MM)# monitor module is an interface between a
control panel and normally open contact devices
MONITOR Module DUAL (MM2)# It is used for two wire
addressable devices, it can also monitor No contacts and
supervisory devices.
Signal Module(SM)#Signal modules (SM) to connect sensors and
actuators (Output devices) are the interfaces of the system
to the process. Digital signal modules acquire the binary
control signals to and from the process level.
Isolator Module(IM)# To protect the system against short
circuits, should be placed between each device on the
SLC (Signaling Line Circuit) loop to isolate a short-circuit

I am designing new project sub station with 220 kV / 11 kV, 40 MVA capacity. This project have many recifier sets, which can generate 3rd harmonics. Now I have to select vector group of This transformer. To minimise 3rd harmonics, what care should I take in selection of Transformer Vecrtor group?
