Billing program (for PUDs, cities, etc...) that will track transformers.
Part of that is a 'load balancing' report. The example of a 'load
balancing' report that I have gives actual usage (in KWH) of all the meters
connected to it, converted to KVA and the % it is of the maximum KVA rating
of the transformer. My question is - should I be concerned with the actual
usage or the potential usage? My guess is that if every meter reads the max
usage, it will overload 99% of their transformers. Is this typical in the
energy industry? Are the transformers usually balanced with the actual
usage or the potential usage?

Let us consider a 11kv/433v 100KVA DTR; LV side current rating is 133.33A(100000/(1.732*433)). Now max loading on LV side is 133.33A in each phase. If loading on each phase is say 50A 50A 50A then load is said to be balanced. If loading is say 100A in Rphase 30A in Yphase and 20A in Bphase then the load is said to be unbalanced.

hi, in the event earth grounding is not available in a project, is there any other way to make the elcb work? fyi, i have an instant water heater (6.5kw) installed, however if there is grounding in the heating element inside the heater assembly, i will get grounded. thank you in advance to those who will answer my question.
