The neutral is the normal "return" wire: in systems where
the load is supplied from only one hot (or "live") wire, the
neutral completes the circuit and carries current back from
the load to the power station.
The ground or "earth" wire is a circuit's safety protective
wire that normally carries no current

Neutral - Neutral is the star point of a 3 phase
transformer with star connection of secondary. This star
point will have zero potential under balanced load
condition. This star point may or may not be connected to
earth depending on requirements of power system.
Earthing - Earthing is ground potential (ZERO) connected to
mother earth via earthing pit.

If we thinking the MCCB the live line and nutral line monitoring the system. If any abnormality found the system load it will functioning and cut off system. Where as earth wire have zero potential and it should be connected to earthpit.

Earthing is solid grounding which protect the human and animals and named as equipment earthing.

We know that, in case if there is a faulty insulation,or sc, the current is bypassed to earth through the earth wire that has low resistance.Actually, what will happen to that current that flows through gnd?In that case,if we come in contact with that faulty appliance, wont that current flow through us as we form a closed path by standing in gnd?Is grounding a safety measure?
