Answer / raj
for full load current in transformer we need to short the
secondary terminals, and in IM we have to block the shaft
with full load

Hi Everyone ! My Name is Hakim ullah khan please i need formula of Cable Rating because i want to calculate by self without check any Table Chart... Thank you.....
how a resistor resists to flow the current?how an inductor oppses the sudden change in current?how a capacitor opposes a DC voltage.

1)What will happen when 240 VDC supply is connected to 240VAC supply(DC supply +ve is connected to phase of AC supply & DC supply is to neutral of AC supply). 2)Also what will happen when 240 VDC supply is connected to 240 VAC supply in reverse polarity as of Sr. No 1.
I Need standard operation procedure(SOP)for 500kva Oil type transformer oil filtration & Procedure for IR value checking.
One 200 V, 100 W bulb is connected in series with primary of a 200 V, 10 kVA transformer. If its secondary is kept open circuited, then the bulb would have (1) Full brightness (2) Poor brightness (3) A little less than full brightness (4) More than full brightness...explain
wht factor are considered to design ACB( air Circuit reaker) 415V
what type of current supply is given to house holds?
There are two nos of 33Kv/11Kv 5MVA transformers conecting through HT cable from substation having metering at substation itself. One transformer used at a time another remains stand by.Further 11 nos of 11Kv/440V transformers are attached on it and each transformer is having its own Power factor correction panel. Now one 33/11Kv transformer at no load condition/Stand by condition is having power factor in leading side upto 0.21 and while when another tranformer at same situation have power factor in lagging 0.42. Now one thing is clear that transformer one is having 1.5 Km long 33kv cable due to that PF goes in leading side and another is having only 250 mtr length remains him lagging. Now i want to know that how i can maintain the Power factor at no load/ stand by position though both are behaving in seperate manner.
what is power load and lighiting load?
If two generator running parallel, at that condition both ngr Taken in line or taken any one ngr, but why any one or both Ngr in line? Ngr is use for which purpose?
