Because properties of vaccume is not much efficient to work in
EHV........instead of vaccume " Sulfure hexaaflouride gas "
having more efficient properties to work in EHV line....

vacume ckt breaker of high rupture capacity are more
expensive than other type of ckt breaker..more over the
interrrupters is limited for 20kv,thus above for 36kv ,two
interrrupters are required,,,

n in event of vaccum loss at Extra high voltage,itz repair
is immposible..
