Why shaft eccentricity is not monitored in gas turbines?

eccentricity is usually measure in steam turbines as the
turbine shaft is much longer then gas turbine and and the
chances of displacement of shaft from its central rotational
axises very low that's why it is not considered in case of
gas turbine start.

Radial clearances in gas turbine are very large compare to steam turbine where eccentricity meter is essential during startup. Also gas turbine rotor are relatively shorter than steam turbine.
