For a filter type operations the capacitor banks are connected in series with the circuit.
It is used to eliminate undesired frequency components resulting from thyristor controlled circuits.It is also used in order to separate out carrier frequency signal from the audio frequency in AM detection.

If two transformers same rating(11KV / 440V)connected in the same primary line(11KV), can we connect(bus coupler) secondary side directly or need a synchronization????
