oil emersed xformer- uses oil for cooling system
dry type xformer uses only his housing for cooling system.
we call it heat sink

In Oil transformer, Mineral Oil is used for insulation and
cooling pupose but in dry type transformer, no any kind of
oil is used. In dry type transformer, other methods of
cooling are used i.e. air cold, water cold etc. and for
insulation purpose air, vaccume etc. are used.

Does dry and oil transformers both require dedicated neutral, because in my project we are using 2500kv dry star delta transformer, where they say neutral not required and even it is not provided in our substation. can u let me know

our scope called one core cable for distribution system so we like to use 4 core cable with one equipment grounding conductor so what kind of technical reasons i can say that the 4core is better then 1 core,
why ground cannot be used as neutral as ground also provides close path for current flowing ?
