it have two windings to produced rmf is 1.main winding and
2.auxiliary winding

Can anyone tell me some hints about what type of questions are asked by the interviewer by an Electronics engineer when company is installing an IPP and wants a team of engineers?
hi all i like to know vat is power plot in control systems also i want to know abt latest trends in electrical & electronics
I have a drawing of a wound rotor induction motor for a crane. This crane motor has 5 forward speeds & 5 reverse speed implemented of course with different amount of resistance for each speed setting selected. What has got me scratching around is the fact that 8 of the 10 speed selections switch in uneven (unbalanced) amounts of resistances on each of the 3 connections to the motor's rotor. Can this be possible? I would have assumed this would produce unbalanced rotor currents and therefore vibration in the motor. I would greatly appreciate anyone's comments on this. Many thanks, Confused.
i have 500 amp inductive load of motors ,,,pleas tell me how can i calculate for capacitor bank for improving my power factor to 99 .....calcullations for capacitor bank,,,,

can we individually produce electriciyt
Hi, I've just got into my electrical engineering course and I need some help with a question of mine here. During a site visit, we were shown a main LT panel which has switchgears, ammeters and different kinds of relays and the distribution network from that panel. In the main LT panel I've noted down the current readings as Ir - 163A, Iy - 150A and Ib - 147A. The Line to Line voltage is 415 V at 50 Hz and Line to Neutral voltage is 230V at 50 Hz. From the above details, how would I calculate the kVA rating of transformer? The primary side voltage of the transformer is 11 kV and the secondary side voltage is 415V and the frequency is 50 Hz.
can u name the different types of motors used in different types of applications?
