Answer / raichand s.
M20 Grade is 1:1.5:3
Total quantity- 1cum
Total mix- 1+1.5+3=5.5
Apply Voids 54% i e
cement quantity={((1*1.54*)/5.5)=0.28CuM
so volume of 1 bag cement is 0.035CuM
Required bags=0.28/0.035 = 8 Bag cement

Answer / pramod vs gowda
The mix proportion is 1:1.5:3
We find out the quantity of cement for 1cum
Dry co-efficient of cement is 1.52
Unit weight of cement 1440
Then
(1/(1+1.5+3))*1.52=0.276
0.276*1440=397.44kg/m3
1 bag cement is equal to 50 kgs
397.44/50=7.9488
So Approximately 8 bags of cement is for 1cum

For M 20 grade Concret 1:1.5:3 ratio is required
1 is Cement, 1.5 is Fine Aggregate and 3 is Coarse Aggregate
Add 50% of wet cement concret =1.55 Cubic M
Cement Require for Cub M =(1.55/(1+1.5+3))*30=8.45 Bags
Sand =0.281*1.5=0.42 Cub M
Meterial =0.281*3=0.84 Cub M
