Answer / jahangir
Transformer and genrator PF depends on the nature of
connected load ( Motor ), But motor has its own fixed Power
factor
Therefore Transformer and genrator capacity shown in KVA (
Without PF ) and motor Capacity shows in Kw ( with power
factor )

kw=kva*pf
powerfactor depends on loads, transformers and generators
are not designed for a specific loads, the powerfactor of
these tf and gen are know by knowing the powerfactor of the
load which is being supplied by them.so their ratings are
given in kva

Generator is produsing the power supply and it is flow of
electron it in form of VA
AND they have own rating and they have own power factor
In motor we calculating the efficiency
>efficiency it always in watts or workdone
>And WE cant relate kva to the load
LOad it s only carry the kw Because load only utilizing
the power and we want to exepcet the load only efficiency
or Work done
>load is only for power utilizing

What is the difference between electric and electronic circuits?
Hi frnds :) plz tell me that i have 100 KVA 3 phase generator so by thumb rule 100*1.4 = 144 amps and generaly we can operate at 80% load...so it will 144*0.8 =112 amps.... so now i m confused about single phase load.....if we use that generator only for single phase the that 112 amps is total single phase load or i can give 112 amps at red 112 amps at yellow and 112 amps at blue.... i mean that total single phase load that 100 KVA generator will take is 112+112+112=336 amp ??
