Hi....
Performance testing is defined as a kind of system
testing in which one can perform testing on an application
with various predefined full fledged end to end
transactions in order to determine the performance of an
application.
In other words, it is checked that the responce time
of these transactions are well within the expected responce
times as defined by W3C (World wide Web Consortium)
Hnce performance testing focuses on time factor.

Performance testing : Term often used interchangeably with
’stress’ and ‘load’ testing. To check whether system meets
performance requirements. Used different performance and
load tools to do this.
