FRS - all functional requirement specifications available in this document.

Scenario - For example Login is an scenario (it's should be a function)
If you write test cases for this scenario:-
1. Check out the username
2. check out the password
3. Check out the next page will come or not after press the login button.
4. check out if the username/password wrong whether function remain in the fist page with error message.

those test cases come under the "Login" scenario.

For a single functionality there are many scenario that can
be identified by tester
for single scenario there are many condition are there for
that condition tester will write Test case for both Positive
and Negative Test case.

Test scenario is the enviornment to create test cases and
test scenarion should be one for many test cases.Through it
we can identify that what we are going to test.

I attended CDC software written test on 14th august 2009.time is 45 minutes. 10 objective type questions & 10 descriptive questions. In objective they asked questions from database like what is MTTF,Hotfix,Normalization,table index is used for what?,Release notes etc... 1.What is Registry? 2.What is compatibility testing? 3.Diff between Automated&Performance testing? 4.What is testing for availability? 5.Open database connectivity interface is used for/ 6.Difference btn Application and DLL'S? 7.What is code complete? 8.What is Release candidate? 9.What is smoke test? 10.Is virus a bug?
