I have taken 66kv 1000A and pf as 0.85
MVA=MW/pf so firsrt we must calkulate MW
MW=(1.73*66*1000*0.85)/1000
=97MW
MVA=MW/pf
=97/0.85
=114 say 120MVA
There is no single transformer for 120MVA
so you can use 3*40MVA Transformers in parral operation

1 KVAR = 1.3Amps but, 25KVAR capacitor/690V capacitor takes just 21Amps as leading current, what is the reason? Please explain...
