in resistive load,the power factor is close to unity
in capaciteve load the powerfactor ic 0.8 leading

yes in a resistive load the PF is about unity.
but in a capacitive load the PF is leading but that depends on the size of the capacitive load.
This can be calculated using "J" notations to give the final impedance, phase angle and then current been consumed by using ohms law

My system is 22kv/3.3kv transformer. client is asking to use NGR, but as we have dedicated Neutral Earthing systems which has a value less than 1 Ohm. So i want solid comparision. whenever any squirrel or a crow falls on the transformer input line then there is a big explosion and 440 volts of power is being discharged through the neutral line due to which appliances in off mode are also burned.we have earthing for the transformer as well as the bus bar chamber.why is it happening?
