we can increase our frequency rate but on increasing f rate
our whole generation system has to modified which is too
much costly on other hand our appliance design has to

Answer / soumya
f=(n*p)/120;
f=frequency=50;
n=rpm=3000;
p=no of poles of generators=2;
changing p is quite impossible,
changing rpm is costly;
loads are to be changed;
so it is not likely to change f in any country

yes by coupling 50 hertz motor with the generator of 200 or
100 or required hertz so our input will be 50hertz with
output of required hertz(especially for testing purpose)
only.

WE can not increase frequency in particular system because
of in our power grid system equipment operate on 50 Hz also
in domestic industrial equipment working @5oHz.so it's not
harmful for this.
We can increase & decrease Frequency BY AC DRIVE IT IS
POSSIBLE
