dyn5 test of transformer in which some condition like U,V AND W. primary and sec. side we check
1U2W=1U2V;
1W2V<1W2W
1V2V=1V2W we found all this condition in dyn5 test.

DYn means a delta-star connected transformer in which the primary is delta connected and the secondary is star connected. The number that follows tells us the position of the Red phase of secondary relative to the primary using the clock (primary Red phase at 12oclock).So Dyn11 means secondary is on the 11 oclock line and hence leads the primary by 30deg since anticlockwise is the convention.To convert from one DYn to the other you need to change both primary and secondary connections. You do this by drawing vector diagrams. By using vector diagrams i find that converting from Dyn11 to Dyn5 means: Change ABC to ACB and change abc to cba.

In DYN 11 & DYN 5 is DYN 11 is HV voltage is lead from LV by angle of 30 degree and in DYN 5 HV voltage leg fron LV voltage by 150 degree.we can change vector group from DYN 11 to DYN 5 by change primary winding connection of transformer.
