I have not had this problem all this while anyway for a
motor to burn out running on star delta starter must have a
reason like
too heavy a starting load
quality of winding after rewinding
contacts of starters
starters itself including timers and o/l relays

In industries Power factor is maintained by installing a suitable KVAR bank, How is the PF maintained for domestic use, where is the capacitor bank connected
