whats the working of principal thermocouple..

Answer / rajesh kumar

thermocouple works on the principle of seeback & peltiar
effect
if any two metals are placed at two different places having
junction j1 & j2 normally hot junction & cold
junction .heat is transferred from hot junction to cold and
an emf is produced. this produced emf is equal to the
temperature at that point

whats the working of principal thermocouple..

Answer / surya2322

thermocouple works on seeback effect
i.e when any two different metals are connected together,
an e.m.f.generates, this e.m.f is a function of the temperature

The general form of this relationship is:
e=a1t1+a2t^2+a3t^3.....an+t^n

effect,when two differant metals conected together at hot
junction if we applyed heat on hot junction so we founded
on cold junction e.m.f (mv)
