thermocouple works on the principle of seeback & peltiar
effect
if any two metals are placed at two different places having
junction j1 & j2 normally hot junction & cold
junction .heat is transferred from hot junction to cold and
an emf is produced. this produced emf is equal to the
temperature at that point

are kept in different tempreture then the emf is
produced between them.
