VCB is batter than ACB.in hv side VCB is used & Lv side ACB is used current rapturing in vacuum is more effective than air

It depends upon the application.
For lower voltage and current rating and at lower cost ACB
is better
and for heigher power rating VCB is better

acb is used upto LOW VOTAGE UPT 1kV AND VCB IS USED FOR HT
IN LIKE 3.3,6.6 kV

Its depending upon application of usage.
VCB:It is using in HT side because of it will carry high
voltage &low current.
Example: in Ht side voltage is 11KV &current lee than 600
Amps

ACB:It is using in LT side because of it will carry high
current &low voltage.
Example: in LT side current is depending upon load &
voltage is 430 only.

We are use ACB in LV system because of Low voltage & its
spark also low compare to HV system so that other
accessories use for ARC extinguisher size less than to HV
system.

But same system use in HV system need more size compare to
LV system for ARC extinguisher so we are use VCB design for
HV system & ACB design for lV system, All are suitable as
per respectively.

I have 10 amp MCB for my air conditioner of 1.5 ton capacity. When I connect the ac direct it is started running but when connected through stabliser the Mcb Get trip and air conditioner couldn't start.please confirm whether Mcb is required to be upgraded to 20 amp. There is no fault in ac and the stabliser. Please advice the reason of tripping the mcb when connected through the stabliser.
