GENERALLY,WHEN THE COMMISSIONNG IS DONE WITH SHORT CIRCUIT
TEST, ALL PARAMETERS ARE SET FOR ALL PROTECTION RELAYS-
NAMELY: i) differential protection
ii) Over current,instantaneous over current

iii) Unbalanced current ( negative sequence)

iv) loss of ecxcitation.

v) reverse power

vi) Under voltage.

viii) over voltage

hence it is not necessary to repeat .

Which theory is used in the analysis of salient pole rotor synchronous machines? Who is credited for this developement? Could the same theory be used for cylindrical rotor synchronous machines?

we have one pumping station and 4.6 MW 7 no.s synchronous motors.so there is no required HT capacitor to improve power factor.But we have two no.s of 25 Mva power transformer connect to distribute the power for motors connect with 220 kv line.So i have required the HT capacitor to improve power factor at HT side i mean power transformer bus side.So please suggest how much HT capacitor banks required for same.
