1)we r having one problem .one dry type
transformer(6.6KV/433V)is taking high magnetizing current on
delta connected HV side of "U" phase when compared to other
two phases.could any body tell the reason why it is happening?
2)why CT secondary side protection core has got higher
winding resistance when compared to that of metering core of
same CT?

Answerin ur 2nd query:
As we kno the flow of current is inversely proportional to the the resistance. Hence a lower resistance winding on the metering core of the CT would ensure a sensitive/accurate current(ampere) reading. Following the same principle the protection core has high resistance to limit the flow of over current and step it down to the calibration of the metering side.
Pls feel free to correct me if i am wrong or not clear

1.Check for no of turns ratio
2.check for phase angle difference
Sec side of CT always handle more current comparing to primary side
