Error Guessing is a one of the Testing Methodology.In which
Tester use their experience to find the bug or to write the
Test case.
I think it depends on Validation testing.

experience,he may guess where there are chances of finding
defects, to find these defects he may prepare testcases is
called error guessing.
and it is a technique for experience based testing.it is
applicable at all levels of testing process.(verification &
validation)

How do you handle a test case when the test data created with an AGE field becomes invalid since the date of the system changes over time? For example, a person who could be a < 18 years old last month is now > 18 years and the whole scenario fails? Do you keep updating the test data or is there another creative solution here (besides changing the system date & time which can't be done as it is an Internet app)?
