modulation-it is the process of varing a periodic waveform.
for eg:a tone in order to use that signal to carry a
message. periodic waveform is a sine wave which repeats
itself. normally a high frequency sino sidal waveform is
used as a carrier signal. the three key parameters of a
sine wave are amplitude, frequency,n phase all of which can
be modified in accordance with the low frequency
information signal to ontain a modulated signal.
well uhh....i dont know what is it's need plz check 4m d

actually sevaral problems are arived in the propagation of
em waves at AF band(20-20khz)when signal i transmitted with
out modulation.modulation is extreemly necessary in
communication syatems due to following problems.
1.practical length of antenna
2.to reduce noise&interference
3.for frequency assignment
4.for multiplexing
5.to overcome circuit limitations

Modulation is the process of superimposing the carrier
signal onto the audio or any information signal. If the
process has not been carried out then the information
cannot be recieved without any loss.

DEFINITION-
modulation is the process by which some characteristics of a carrier wave is varied in accordance with the instantaneous value of a modulating signal or message signal

Answer / sana
the audio signals are generally in frequency range of
20hertz to 20khz.the length of the antenna required is
quarter of wavelength of signal.for audio signals this
length will be some several kilometers.so by modulation we
are using high frequency carrier to carry information signal

Answer / atul sharma
modulation is the process in which the parameter of a
carrier single circuit in accordance with the information
single which to be transmitted is called the need of
modulation.

mixing of less power information with ahigh power carrier wave.
needs..are.,,
1)for reduse the size of antena
2)different brodcasting station to transmit simultaniously at diff carrier frqncies
3)reduce nois and interference
4)for large coverage area
| Is This Answer Correct ? | 2 Yes | 1 No |
Answer / hikari
1. Reduces the height
of antenna.
2. Avoids mixing of
signals.
3. Increase the range
of communication.
4. Allows multiplexing
of signals.
5. Allows adjustment in
the bandwidth.
6. Improves quality of
reception.
