On what principle reluctance motors work?
Answer / iamdon
Reluctance Motors work on the principle of ALIGNMENT.
When an iron piece of high permeability is placed in the
magnetic field of an ambient low permeability medium
(air),then the piece of iron experience a force which tries
to align the iron piece with the direction of field in such
a way that to occupy the position of minimum reluctance.
