What Happens when oil pressure in a dg set come down to
zero. What are the trouble shooting methods?
Answer / siddhardha
actually oil pressure will be zero only in one case when the dg is in off condition. when it is in running condition it will have pressure of 4 bar . if it is not showing it may be due to two problems one is there is no sufficient oil in the engine and other is the oil pressure sensor is malfunctioning , remedy should be check the oil level in the dg and next check the oil pressure sensor the process for checking the sensor is check the continuity of it u will get the result or else replace with another sensor and check it ,,
