Spark plugs usually require voltage of 12,000–25,000 volts
or more to 'fire' properly, although it can go up to 45,000
volts.

the spark plug will operate at a voltage of 3000volts to
15000volts. when engine is at minimum speed only 15000volts
will be available as ignition coil core will be getting full
time DC voltage. when running at a higher rpm the voltage
reduces as the time available for magnetising the core. that
is why it is advised to run cars at a speed less than 60 km.

and thus the spark plug produces 12,000 to 400,000 volts for
combustion purpose
