that logic...
2+3=2*[3+(2-1)]=8
3+7=3*[7+(3-1)]=27
4+5=4*[5+(4-1)]=32
5+8=5*[8+(5-1)]=60
6+7=6*[7+(6-1)]=72
therefore
7+8=7*[8+(7-1)]=98
x+y=x[y+(x-1)]=x^2+xy-x

ways:just multiply the given two digits and add the answer
with the first digit which is to be multiplied by the before
digit.

Answer / ramkumar
2+3=8 (2*3)+2*(1)
3+7=27 (3*7)+2*(3)
4+5=32 (4*5)+2*(6)
5+8=60 (5*8)+2*(10)
6+7=72 (6*7)+2*(15)
7+8=(98) (7*8)+2*(21)
here the logic is in the difference between the numbers
1,3,6,10,15,21
difference is
in between 1 and 3 there is 1 number
in between 3 and 6 there are 2 numbers
in between 6 and 10 there are 3 numbers
in between 10 and 15 there are 4 numbers
in between 15 and 21 there are 5 numbers
***6+7=72 (its 72 not 60)

Since this is a sequence, so we have to observe its first
two terms:
First digit + Second digit = Resultant
2+3=8 means 2*3+2=8
3+7=27 means 3*7+6=27 3*2=6
(The additional term 6 is the product of first digit (3) of
the operational term, i.e. 3+7 and first digit (2) of the
preceding term i.e. 2+3)
4+5=32 means 4*5+12=32 4*3=12
(The additional term 12 is the product of first digit (4) of
the operational term, i.e. 4+5 and first digit (3) of the
preceding term i.e. 3+7)
5+8=60 means 5*8+20=60
6+7=72 means 6*7+30=72 (6*5=30)
(The additional term 30 is the product of first digit (6) of
the operational term, i.e. 6+7 and first digit (5) of the
preceding term i.e. 5+8)
Therefore:
7+8=98 means 7*8+42=98 (7*6=42)
(The additional term 42 is the product of first digit (7) of
the operational term, i.e. 7+8 and first digit (6) of the
preceding term i.e. 6+7)
Hope it is clear now.
