A man brought a house for Rs. 5lakhs and rents it. he puts 12 1/2% of each month's rent aside ..

Answer / dilip

Option C
Since In question ,taxes are calculated on annual basis, therefore we have to calculate on year basis .
Number of month in a year = 12
let the rent = x
therefore rent = 12x
Atq
(income on yearly basis) - (given 12.5 % on rent) - (year basis) = (10 % on investment(500000))
12x-12.5 of 12x -1660 = 10 % on investment(500000)

Answer / spider man

The taxes are given annually,so we have to solve as per year.
12.5 percent of x multiplied by 12 +rs.1660+10 percent of x =12x.
Rs.51660=12x- 3x/2.
X=4920.
Therefore, answer is 'C'.
