In INDIAN govt will provide 50HZ frequency for AC
supplies. All the equipment are manufacture for that
frequency only. So,frequency can't exceed. If it is exceed the
load will be damaged.

Answer / master ramunni raja.v
in America they are used 60 Hz frequency. If we use above
50Hz The current flow will b increased. So all the Equipment
works faster then 50Hz operation speed. So current flow
increased.

First we have know frequency ...you know the number of cycle per second ....that is the current flow denotes per second ...and also to know wavelenth ..the distance between completion of one cycle (frequency) ..since ...we are going to how much cycle can complete in a desired voltage...but in india the cycle per second was fixed....hence if we take 100w load takes...with the desired voltage 230...therefore the load will taking amps as in name plate details...if we taken. 100W load in america...with same current taking with. 60 Hz frequency .....here the voltage should be changed to as 110 v ac...therefore frequency increase above 50hz ...the voltage definitely going to decrease ...as it fix one voltage is possible...
